Capoeira & Brazilian Festival 2018

Capoeira CDO Perth is thrilled to present the 6th Kuatapoeirando Capoeira Festival 2018.

On Friday the 19th of October from 6 pm to 9:30 pm at the Churchlands Concert Hall, you’ll be be mesmerised by a Capoeira show including performances of:

Maculele – Brazilian warrior dance
Kids Choir
Puxada de Rede – Fishermen’s theatrical dance
Samba de Roda
Capoeira Acrobatics
Masters’ Presentation

Each element of the show will be backed by the rhythm of a live Capoeira bateria (musical instrument ensemble). Following the show, the adult students will test their skills against Capoeira Mestres to graduate to the next level in their Capoeira learning.

On Saturday the 20th of October from 1 pm to 5:30 pm at the Hamersley Recreation Centre, come and experience even more Brazilian Culture in all its glory at the biggest Capoeira Festival that Perth has to offer.
